Can you do the ATT qualification whilst in an IVA?

Didn't find your answer?

I have a friend who was asking me to be their 'sponsor' through the ATT process, and they were asking me a couple of nights ago whether I knew if they would still be able to take the ATT becayse she is in an IVA (approved earlier this year) - there is a question specifically asking about bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements with credtors. I suggested she asked the ATT, but as yet she hasn't heard anything from them.

She does work in accountancy, and her employers are aware that she is in an IVA, but they don't have an issue with it at all.

Any comments very welcome!

Thanks.
Chris

The ATT...

... will likely ask for further information in support of their application, usually directly to the applicant rather than through the employer.

As far as I'm aware, having an IVA on its own is not sufficient to fail the "fit and proper" tests and I'd expect there to be no problem with the ATT accepting her registration.
