Can you "synchronise" two sheets?

Can you "synchronise" two sheets?

Didn't find your answer?

Is it possible to synchronize the movemment of two sheets in excel?? In excel you can view two sheets in the same book, at the same time.(window, click new window, click arrange, choose the appropriate option.
If working in row 1000 in sheet one, but the view in sheet two will remain in row one. So is it possible to fix/synchronize the movement?

No
It's not part of the way Excel works. Although you can show two windows, only one is active at a time. You may well be able to write a piece of visual basic to achieve this, but other wise you can't do it.

Usually, when I've wanted to do something like this, I've combined the two sheets into one, either permanantly or using a lookup.

It's fairly easy to do this in Access using a form...

No very 'help'ful
Programmatically, you can do this with the Arrange method of the Windows object.

That's what Excel Help has to say - perhaps someone else can explain what it means!

My best guess is that you need to edit the worksheet code(right-click on the sheet tab and click view code) but I can't see anything that looks relevant.
