Capital allowances on Chalets?

Capital allowances on Chalets?

Didn't find your answer?

Can we claim capital allowances on chalets or is this extending the definition of caravan too far?

Depends what they are used for
Have a look at
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/camanual/CA22100.htm
since the description of what qualifies as a holiday caravan appears to cover something which some might call a "chalet" - if you could in some way move it?

Otherwise, I think you cannot.
