Charitable Donations

My client has not been asked to submit a personal tax return since 04/05. She has a few charitable donations that she would now like to claim going back to June 2005. Can I claim relief for these in her 2007/8 tax return as a lump sum or would we have to submit returns for each relevant year to claim relief?

You can't do things like that, I'm afraid.

You will have to submit returns for each relevant year to claim relief.
This is only worth doing if she is a higher rate taxpayer or is in the age allowance trap. A waste of paper otherwise.
