Does anyone know of any payroll software which can handle the processing of pay to employees subject to PAYE as well as subcontractors subject to the 18% CIS deduction?

New software
QGold will include CIS by the end of the year (unfortunately the calendar year not the financial year). They are excellent and, also, their phone support is unbeatable.
Specialist Construction Industry Package
Hi Dawn
We are resellers of Construct Software that integrates with Sage Payroll and is designed to deal with all the CIS requirements plus retentions etc. The suite also covers full costing of jobs, valuations etc if required.
If you would like further details e-mail me on [email protected]. We cover the South East, but if you are elsewhere I can put you in touch with a local reseller.
Best Regards, Duncan
Moneysoft Payroll
Moneysoft also handle this and all peiods can be kept open for as long as you want. Also use I/R stationery for end of year returns.

payroll software for cis deductions
does this mean that moneysoft print the cis vouchers on official i/rev paper or only on plain paper for you to use as an office copy
Freeway every time
Freeway payroll is the one you want. It also does net to gross and is very straightforward to use.
software selection - problems with freeway
backing up is a [***] - only suitable for IT tecchies or very competent users- just try it, and watch it use the wrong directory etc.
also it is STILL not really win98+ as doesn't use "favorites" to access directories
also it's now owned by Sage or someone like them - sssssssssssss.
althouhg it does net to gross you cannot set htis up as a permanent so you have ot remebr ot enter it every week - reallly teeedious - and opportunity for errorful.
but it's cheap and we mustn’t complain. when i'm rich i'll get a perfect payroll package written and market it.
