CIS6

CIS6

Didn't find your answer?

Client wants to go limited for tax reasons and has CIS6 so gets paid without having tax deducted.

Would the revenue issue the CIS6 in company name based on turnover of sole trader or would they have to build up 6 months worth of turnover.

Historical turnover
The IR will allow the turnover of your client as a sole trader to count towards his company's CIS6 application.
Watch out for the number of connected persons rule. The IR no longer count husband and wife as one person for CIS application purposes so if wife is a director or shareholder the turnover test threshold doubles.
