'& Co'

'& Co'

Didn't find your answer?

I realise the implications of 'ltd' and 'plc', but does this title have any?

Chris is spot on!
Yes Chris is spot on!

I started in practice using my own name and changed to & co as I felt it made me/the practice seem bigger. Dont know if it really works..possibly?

I recall when I used my name for the firm one client getting rather cross as he said he'd had 3 different people answering the phone saying ''hello Nicola X'' and they couldnt all possibly be me. He was an older gentleman and just couldnt understand the name was the practice name and my staff werent really trying to con him, so the & Co helped him if nothing else!

Billy no mates
It generally means I am a sole proprietor trying to look bigger.

Sometimes it means we have so many partners we cannot remember all the names.
