Companies House Super Efficient

Companies House Super Efficient

Didn't find your answer?

Its got to be Friday.

If only it was next week (the 13th)

Many of you have mocked and berated the service from Companies House. But they can be super efficient too!

Today, 6 August 2010, I have used WebCHeck only to see that the company I am interested in is shown as dissolved on 10 August 2010. Not going to be dissolved but has been dissolved.

Two possible explanations

1.  If you apply to have a company struck off on form DS01 (was 652A), you eventually get a letter from Companies House saying that the Registrar has removed the company from the register, that it will be formally dissolved on a date a few days into the future and that there is nothing you can do to stop the process.  You may just have looked up the company in those few days.

2.  Companies House computer system is currently having all sorts of problems.
