corporate partner of LLP

Where a limited company is a corporate partner of an LLP and this is the company's sole activity is it standard practice for that limited company to have a PAYE scheme and to pay the sole director /shareholder a salary. If the salary were paid and P11D benefits in kind provided would the cost of that director's remuneration be deductible in the limited company's corporate tax computation from the LLP profit share included therein?
