We have a client who disposed of a number of different shareholdings during 2006/07 but has no acquisition costs. I have the dates and these go back to 1984. Does anyone know where I can access this information without paying for the service?

Try the search facility, looking for historic share prices; you will find quite a few ideas there, depending on whether the shares are in FTSE 100.
