CT600 AIA error message

Hi,

It's late - I'm probably being blind (or thick, or both! :) ).

Trying to complete HMRC online CT600 comp. Very small company has purchased assets of £2k this year, all which can be claimable under AIA.

Have put in the correct entries in box CP83 for expenditure in year, box CP88 for allowances claimed, but WDV c/f instead of showing as £nil, shows as £(2,000).

Anyone come across this before? Online filing is obviously closed and deadline is asap for filing.

Thoughts??

Thanks

Sid

Hope someone has an answer as I have exactly the same problem doing my brother-in-laws' CT600

Suspect it's a bug in the online system

Hi,

I spoke to online filing who had no idea what AIA was (did I expect them to?!), and they put me through to Corporation tax office, who went through my filing (there were no issues as all was 100% correct) and suggested that I put it through as a FYA and then put a note on file.

I couldn't be bothered with the hassle and potential comeback (submission needed to be asap), so just bought 3rd party software a month earlier than I planned to and filed that way.

Guess that doesn't help if you were not planning on buying any CT software!
