CT600's

CT600's

Didn't find your answer?

We have been using Digita E-Forms for several years and been quite happy to do so.

Recently, we had to resort to preparing the latest version of the CT600 manually as, according to Digita, HMRC will not allow them to release a copy of the updated form, where the software does not ALSO support electronic filing of the CT600. Presumably, this is in readiness for compulsorary FBI.

We could upgrade all of our software (at a cost of course) and I expect that, eventually , we will have no choice. However, in the meantime, does anyone know of any sensible alternative to support electronic preparation of manual submission?

Finansol Ltd Tax Software can help
Our corporation tax software does what you are asking: the software does the computation (if required), and all calculations, and completes the forms, which you can then submit manually.

Very low cost, and easy to use.

Downloads
I am not particularly familiar with digita eforms - but we have CT and companies forms products. Drop me an email directly to [email protected] and I can reply with a link so that you can download them to see if they fit the bill.

Paper still allowed
Mandatory electronic filing of CT returns is not until April 2011. There are several (including our own !) choices of CT software that does not enforce electronic filing. That said, to me, filing on paper seems about as archaic as using a quill pen !

.....
I'm sure the liason officer said that they weren't proposing to translate the updated 2008 form

(either as they were deciding on the exact nature of the ongoing provision or that there may have been a new style CT600 in the offing at the time - and this is where they were concentrating translation resources)

but would accept the the old style / dated form (and we have successfully filed 2008 end APs using that form).

Try this.
Language barrier notwithstanding, the fact that they are "old style" 8 page forms and that the editable PDF can get a bit "sticky" from time to time - should do the job.

I think you can even file online if you're set up on the government gateway.
