Current LLP Act Applicable.

Current LLP Act Applicable.

Didn't find your answer?

Good Morning to all.

I have question in mind that, What is the current Limited Liability Partnership Act applicable to accounts begning from 1 April 2009.The company in question is Limited Liability Partnership, with accountingn period 1 April 2009 to 31.03.2010.

I know the Compnaies Act 2006 apply in relation to the above period.

I have looked at Companies House Website, and there is not much on the Current LLP Act applicablity.

Has LLP Act 2001 still in force for the above accounting period?

Could any one please help me on this or refer to any website link.

It depends on the size of the LLP

If it is a "small" LLP then the accounts are now governed by "The Small Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts) Regulations 2008 (SI 1912 of 2008). If not small then the accounts are governed by "The Large and Mediun-Sized Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts) Regulations 2008 (SI 1913 of 2008).

Good luck!
