DAVE HARTNETT

Didn't find your answer?

In October's edition of Taxation Practitioner Dave Hartnett asks us Tax Advisers/Accountants to provide evidence of falling HMRC standards - 'send us a copy of the letter and our reply to show the time lapse' he begs.

Well - I have a prime example of the c**p service provided to his lucky 'customers' and I want him to see it - but does anyone know how to contact him or, second best, where to send such blatant examples of HMRC ignorance?

All replies will be treated in total confidence ;-)

Me too
Don't know how to myself but if you do find out ,share the contact details with us all. I have a couple that I can send him that would help to prove this beyond doubt.

Sent a e-mail approx 18 month ago and received a e-mail and a phone call from a advisor last week asking how they could help.

No doubt there are plenty of readers who could beat that hand down.

Parliament Street...
As far as I am aware, Revenue's Head office, which used to be at Somerset House (may be still is, though every office of theirs keeps changing, seemingly almost on a daily basis) is now 100 Parliament Street, London SW1A 2BQ.

My last complaint to the Chairman earlier this year found its way to him via that address.

Got another complaint going in soon regarding one of their employees who is in the CIS section, who has not even looked at their information before sending a mindless letter to me regarding a client, so wasting both their time and my time!!

Useless.
