Dealing with Managed Service Companies

Dealing with Managed Service Companies

Didn't find your answer?

I am a small member in practice, I have recently taken on 2 clients from managed service companies by default

I have a couple of issues,

The first is receiving a quality TB with supporting schedules, despite my requests the information I have been provided with is very poor

For the 2nd client no records have actually been sent ( its now 2 months) as when I chase I'm being told there is a problem with the Balance Sheet.

My second question is more on an ethical basis -

For one of the client the MSC are refusing to produce the Year End Accounts, the fee for the pass 12 months includes all services and if they had not left the MSC the accounts would be produced at no cost.
I feel bad that the client has already paid for the services and will have to pay me again to produce the Year End Accounts - Any advice.

double fees
Don't worry about the client having to pay again. If they are sufficiently disatisfied to move to you they must be prepared to stand the cost of changing accountants.
