e-commerce link to accounts software

e-commerce link to accounts software

Didn't find your answer?

We have a client who is planning to sell food via their Web-site. They are trying to find an accounts package or item of software that will take the Web transactions directly into the accounts package without the need for entering the transactions manually. Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge?

end to end e-commerce
We have a system that permits end to end e-commerce trading. I.e. The end user purchases on-line (by credit card or on account) and the sales turn up in the SOP module of the accounts system.

Pegasus Web Trading - Integrated e-commerce solution
Pegasus Software Ltd can provide an accounting solution with an integrated Internet Sales Order Processing Module.

Pegasus Opera is the accounting solution. The Pegasus Web Trading Solution allows you to publish information from your Stock Control module on to the Internet in catalogue format. As customers place orders for goods on your web site these orders are poled into the Opera Sales Order Processing Module as sales orders, removing the need to re-key any information.

If you are trading Business to Business or to a set of known customers the Pegasus Web Trading Solution will display the product catalogue specifically for that customer ensuring that any special prices, discounts or trading terms that have been set up in the accounting software are used.

The solution can either be hosted at the customers site or can be hosted by Pegasus. The solution is flexible and so can fit around the customers existing web site design.

We have a range of customers using this solution within their business. Case Studies are available by contacting our Enquiry Desk on 01536 495200.

eCommerce link to ERP accounting system
Hansa Financials allows integration of a pre-existing website with the accounting system, real-time, without the need to use third-party software. This can be achieved over a wide-area network, if required. The solution is aimed at small to medium sized companies, and so is cost-effective. Of the 43,000 companies who have bought Hansa, many (particularly in the UK) are food companies.

E-commerce link to accounts software
I work for an IT firm focused on bringing good affordable solutions to the SME market. We recommend either Access Horizons, or ECBuilder for their e-commerce abilities. Access Horizons will take orders via the web and then input them into your order processing, whereas ECBuilder will let you know of an order via an e-mail, which you can then manage using order desk software. Both very easy to set up and affordable e-commerce solutions.
If anyone requires any further information or demo, please drop me an e-mail.

Access offers the most cost-effective solution
In support of others who have responded to this item I can confirm that Access Accounting has solved the problem of linking web sites with accounts software very early on with a complete solution that does not rely on third party solutions.

Transaction broker, one of the fully integrated modules available, collects all the web generated data and enters it directly into the accounts system totally automatically.

A full e-commerce solution (including web site) can be available for as little as £2,000.

Visit www.access-accounts.com to see the full story or send me an e-mail and I will get back to you with further information.
