Phishing scams
Best one I have seen so far was an email showing a source address at [email protected] with the body of the email containing the usual "server upgrade" text and a Barclays banner.

Not going to fool many that way? Or might they ...

Flood of phishing emails.
It appears to be the scam of the month currently. I've had loads since Christmas - HSBC, Barclays, Halifax - they are arriving at the rate of 2 or 3 a day and I don't even have accounts with some of them.

They are using the Halifax's name too.
I have had a large number from "Halifax" at my home e-mail address.
