We have, with the aid of Scanworx, converted to a paperless system. However we act as the Registered Office for a number of Companies and retain the Company Registers at our office.
My plan is to scan the Company Registers and have the scanned copies available at this office should anyone ask to inspect them; and return the originals to the client. Alternatively I have considered, subject to the directors written consent, making the electronic version the only version of the Company Registers and destroying the paper versions once scanning is complete.
My question is would either of the above courses of action comply with Company Law?
