ELS

ELS

Didn't find your answer?

Does anyone know why ELS has not worked properly for almost two weeks?

Having got used to refunds coming back in about 10 days, this delay is really annoying!

We can send the returns in, but an IR message says they cannot be processed, and it will be fixed asap.

How s is asap?

IR and ASAP ?
Charles,

In my experience, since both the IR and EDS are involved the term "asap" should automatically be converted to "When Hell Freezes Over"

:)

Frustrating isn't it.
When it works, it is fantastic. Very frustrating at the moment though as customers have become used to speedy repayments.

In my experience it is best to wait until it is working completely fine again before trying to submit. Otherwise it always seem that further problems are caused such as not receiving acceptance notices and this just proves to be a wastes of time.

ELS working again
We had the last of our acceptances this morning for returns filed during the problem period, so ELS seems to be working again. Because we didn't receive any bulletin board notices when the problems occured (the notices were issued several days later) I phoned the helpline. They didn't know when the problem was to be fixed or even what it was - it was in the hands of third parties! I've asked them to send out bulletin board notices as soon as a problem is found, and to continue to send them out at least daily until the problem is fixed. We would then know where we were and would save a lot of calls to the helpdesk. After all, that was the purpose of the bulletin board.
