Software to produce engagement letters. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips. Would it really save us time and still produce what we need (considering that we are a small firm of Chartered Accountants providing a full range of services)?

ICAEW free version
The ICAEW Tax Faculty have an engagement letter which is free to download from their Website:

ABG do one
ABG do a £95 cd of around 70+ engagement letters that runs on Internet Explorer software and is quite neat. However whether it saves you time is another matter!
I'm an Iris user, and their Automail programme has a database of engagement letters, which can be filtered with macros, and I think is probably going to be the quickest.
Database / Mailmerge ?
I assume you want to create a "tailored" engagement contract based on each clients individual requirements from your range of services.
If so, we've done a similar thing for a publishing company where a "tailored" renewal letter sequence is automatically created using Word Mailmerge and if/then commands based on each clients current subscription service held in a database.
If I've assumed correctly and you'd like an example you can email me directly at [email protected]
