The law firm I work for are looking to instruct an expert in Excel to prepare a report and possibly give evidence in court. Does anyone know where (on the internet or otherwise) I can find a list of such experts, as I am having very little luck so far!

Microsoft or ICAEW
You could try Microsoft, and ask them for a list of accredited Microsoft Certified Professionals with expertise in Excel. ALternatively, the IT Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales maintains a record of the expertise of its members, come of whom profess to be experts in Excel, and some (such as me) are members also of teh Academy of Experts &/or the Expert Witness Institute
