Excel exporting to Money Manager (by MoneySoft)

Excel exporting to Money Manager (by MoneySoft)

Didn't find your answer?

Does anyone know of an existing Macro, or export formula, which enables transfer of data from Excel to Money Manager? MM requires a comma separated, double inverted comma delimited (excluding date and amount) file to import. Excel can to a comma separated (.CSV) file, but not with double inverted commas around the text items, as far as I know. Any experts who can help?

Excel Export to Money Manager.
As a dedicated user of Money Manager since it first came on the market, I have never had reason to post anything from Excel TO Money Manager. Do you want to give an example as to your proposed scenario. Usually Money manager exports TO Excel, not the other way round.
If all else fails contanct the company and ask for Gavin McHamish.

It is possible with other programs
Hi

I have only brief knowledge of Money Manager. When I was looking at software for the organisation I was working for,- I briefly looked at MM. One of my requirements was that I could import data from Excel.

In the end, we went bespoke, and were very satisfied with the result.
The company who designed it is now selling the program on the general market.
If you are interested, email [email protected] and I'm sure they'll be willing to help. Price is comparitive with other similar programs, and is fully functional with multi-currencies,-something I think MM is not fully up to speed with.

Best wishes

Steve
