When dragging down figures on an excel spreadsheet column, lines previously inserted on the rows disappear.Is it possible to fix these lines so this does not happen.

What is the problem
I have been unable to work out what the issue is. Could you explain it again?
Use the Freeze panes command
Position your cursor in the cell immediately below the column titles you wish to retain in view, and immediately to the right of any row titles you wish to view.
Go to the Window command on the top line menu, and select freeze panes.
To remove the freeze, go to window and unfreeze panes.
Don't move!
Sounds like you're trying to drag the contents of a cell to a new location by left-clicking on the top left corner of the cell.
This action will move the cell contents, including all formatting.
If you right-click instead, when you release the mouse button in a new location you get a list of choices.
