There shouldn't be
The fact that Excel is a really flexible tool does not mean that it should be used as a database. Excel is for crunching and modelling numbers. Databases are for managing data. I therefore recommend that you look for some "proper" software for practice management.
My firm has used HQ for Accountants for many years and it does all of the practice management we need.

Well said Adrian couldn't agree more.
If cost is an issue then there are some cost effective solutions available from the likes of Forbes, Keytime etc. Having not used any of them I can't comment on their effectiveness.
Perhaps before diving into practice management you should spend some time deciding what exactly it is You are trying to achieve with it. I found that I in my first two years of practice I didn't use an of the features of the Digita solution, and so simply wasted money.
