I know it is a bit basic, but preparing accounts in Excel it annoys me that I cannot get straight left and right borders on my text in paragraphs. The justify button is OK but leaves a jagged right hand edge, the stretch margin button seems to put all text in one column!!
Any help appreciated

Justify shouldn't leave a jagged right edge
At least it didn't in the test I did where I set allignment for the cell as:
It shows
- Horizontal : Justify
- Vertical : Bottom
- Wrap text : ticked
- and the text nicely justified in a cell
[Ed - post reformatted so the image displays - sorry for frustration].
Give up
When I used to prepare accounts without suitable software I would use a combination of Word and Excel. With a bit of imagination you can use them for what they are best at.
If you want to save time get proper software.
Justifying text in Excel
If you want straight left and right margins for text in Excel, you can add a Justify command to the formatting toolbar in Excel.
Right click in a white space area in your Excel toolbar
Select Customise at the bottom
Select Format from the list of categories on the left hand side
Scroll down the commands and click on Justify and drag it onto the formatting toolbar
I hope this helps
