Exporting data from Pegasus Senior

We are currently implementing SunAccounts to replace Pegasus Senior, our old accounting software. I am trying to export historic data from Pegasus into one of the following formats: Lotus/Excel, SYLK, CSV. As far as I can see, the only way of doing this is by spooling a 'list transactions' report to a text file instead of a printer and editing the data in Excel. I am just wondering if there is a better way of exporting the data?
