FBI : Revenue seem to have trouble telling the time

FBI : Revenue seem to have trouble telling the...

Didn't find your answer?

I have noticed that after filing clients' Self Assessment Tax Returns on-line, the receipt which comes back always shows the time based on GMT instead of BST.

One would have thought that the Inland Revenue, sorry HMRC, should be able to tell the time.

What is the point of issuing receipts with incorrect information on them? Poor show.

Maybe it will work in my favour one day should I ever file a return one hour later than the deadline as I will be able to prove I didn't. Mind you, it would have to be in the summer time so that rules out all 31 January deadlines. Damn and blast!

Has anyone else noticed this?
