Filing by Internet

Filing by Internet

Didn't find your answer?

The Revenue seem to have lost some of our clients when putting UTR details on Gateway.gov.uk which makes a mockery of trying to file by internet. I have called various tax offices and the FBI helpline who all sound helpful but the end result is that the number of clients on our list does not change. I've even emailed using the secure email system within Gateway but as yet haven't had a response. Anybody have any ideas how to get these clients onto Gateway without sending another 64-8. I know they already have 64-8's for these clients because they confirm it when I speak to them.

They may be there! We thought the same where we had three added to the list. However, when they were added the "flag" to enable our firm to file was not set. If you look at the client list on the government gateway most clients have "re-allocate" alongside them. However the three we had added had the word "allocate" - clicking on them and ticking the practice box to enable us to file updated the client count to the correct number.
