I am currently evaluating some bookkeeping software for my business.
I was browsing online (www.sage-pastel.co.uk) and found the Sage Pastel Partner software. Can someone please advise if it is a good option?

Good option
I have used Sage Line 50, Iris Accounts Office, Iris Bookkeeping and on the larger end of the scale Sage MMS.
Pastel Partner is a good option, it is easy to use and contains some simple features that others do not, such as the ability to specify periods (Sage Line 50 does not allow this because it is solely date driven).
Another good feature on Pastel Partner is the ability to print a trial balance directly to excel, if you have specific forms set up, you can link the Pastel TB directly in to your forms.
The only downsides are if you buy the basic package you do not get the inventory module, also, you cannot export directly to BACS for supplier payments.
For most companies it's good basic bookkeeping software.
