Looks like nobody uses Helpaccountants, otherwise there would have been atleast some positive reviews?

Help accountants

I subscribed to them a few months back. Very useful, and on the couple of occasions when I've contacted them with technical queries they've been very helpful ( and quite speedy). Well worth the very reasonable subscription I'd say.

They are OK

I subscribe to them too. It works out at £120 pa. The flowchart on their website is OK but very basic, and their standard letters are very lacking. Not had to contact them about any matters as I'm part of Qdos. The occasional emails are quite helpful. Why not just sign up for 12 months and see what you think.

Qdos any good? What services do they provide?

I am looking for a service where they could guide me on technical accountancy and taxation issues promptly

QDOS

I have support provided by QDOS, via my ICPA membership. The overall costs (which include PII and other goodies) are very reasonable, and worth the membership fees, even if you are qualified.

I have had taxation and legal support from QDOS and I would say my perisonal experiences have been prompt, well explained, and highly satisfactory.

Try ICPA

For me as a member of ICPA they offer it all - the PI insurance is the best part

I subscribe to helpaccountants.co.uk

Extremely nice people and go out of their way to help you with a query.

I was not sure whether I would need to subscribe next year. Despite using them very rarely, I think that the value I get is worth the price. So I have decided to renew my subscription this year again.

Hope that helps.

Tax consultancy

Hi

Only just seen your posting. If you need tax advice for your clients, I can help you with that. Reasonable charges - which only arise when you ask a question (which for some of my clients is only once a year!) and can be billed on to your clients - plus I'm friendly too! Advice mainly by email (so you've got something in writing) or by phone if you prefer. Advice by post can be done - but probably best avoided at the moment!

If you want to know more call me on 01765 601241 or email me on [email protected].

Either way, good luck with the new business. It's lovely working for yourself!

Help accountants
Genuinely nice people.
They have something to offer, certainly. I think they are a bit unsure quite what it is and could do with reviewing and redefining what their offering is. It is just a little too 'ad-hoc' for me.

Have they improved over the years?

Any recent feedback about them?

MSB
