HMRC's PAYE on-line is a complete farce!

HMRC's PAYE on-line is a complete farce!

Didn't find your answer?

So I filed on on-line returns in good time and computer acknowledged this. So:

1) Why does my practitioner's section still say no returns for 2004-05 have been filed?

2) All my clients received threatening letters from the Collector of Taxes last week threatening legal action for recovery of 2004-05 taxes when there are NONE due?

3) Why have we not been notified of the £250 filing incentive to set against tax due yet?

Does anyone know a good lawyer so we can sue HMRC for total mismanagement?

During one conversation with HMR&C recently I was informed that their computer is called Eric: remember that comedy duo Eric and Ernie?

I presume that while Ernie is generating random numbers for the Premium Bonds Eric is doing the same sort of thing for HMR&C!

During same conversation was advised that Eric would reveal all some time during the second half of July just before the penalties start being issued. Lets just hope Eric's valves have got up to operating temperature by then.
