How many years?

How many years?

Didn't find your answer?

I use my own car for business travel and have not claimed tax back through self-assessment but now decided to claim whatever I can for previous years?

Can anyone tell me how many years expenses can I claim?
Many thanks

About 6 years
You can make a claim re this year on this year's return and you can repair last year's return if it is still less than 12 months since you filed your original return. For older claims you can make a claim under error or mistake for up to five years after 31 January, following the end of the tax year in which tax was overpaid.

Forgot to add that Ronald certainly usually does not make serious posts. I think it's all those years working in PR for McDonalds that got to him.

You cant
unless you claim via me. I will do 5 years for the bargain price of £5k.
If we are doing 5 years worth you may get back as much as a thousand pounds..
Tempted?
Give me a call.

You can of course get your head screwed on properly.
