IBA's for recording studios

IBA's for recording studios

Didn't find your answer?

We have a client who claimed IBA's on expenditure incurred on his recording studios. However the Reveune will not allow this claim. We have read in a reputable book wriiten by Richard Harvey and Richard Baldwin that such expenditure could be claimed. Has anybody any experience of this.

Thanks

Not with music, I am afraid but...
This is the list of qualifying trades:

You will see that 32217 deals with TV and sound studios. This looks quite hopeful for you as recording of CDs /DVDs etc presumably is now accepted as videotape was previously a production process.
