Integrating ACT 2000 With Sage Instant Accounting / Sage Line 50

Integrating ACT 2000 With Sage Instant...

Didn't find your answer?

We have never used Sage for accounts production as it has always been too inflexible for our needs. However, since Sage took over ACT, it has started introducing a direct link between ACT and the traditional Sage accounting packages.

It would be useful for us to be able to use some elements of this integration and establish a more structured credit control system. We would use the Instant Accounting/Line 50 product more for internal book-keeping and credit control purposes than anything else, and the direct link with ACT would facilitate easier Reminders/Statements to be sent out.

We would like to hear from anyone who has tried anything similar, either between ACT and Line 50/Sage Instant Accounting, or between ACT and Quick Books. One of our concerns would be the efficiency/level of support we could expect from Sage if the links did not work or we came across other problems.

We are grateful for any insights anyone would be able to provide in managing this process from a practical viewpoint. We currently run ACT on a 15-user licence across a network.
