Internet Explorer

Didn't find your answer?

I know there has been quite a few queries on IE recently but think mine is of a different nature and was hoping someone can help i.e. I am using ver.6 (tried to upgrade to ver.7 but it wouldn't work!) and have had no problems until recently, whereby I can get onto websites ok and navigate around but at a certain point, usely when clicking a link ,the sreeen freezes and I get a yellow triangle and 'Error on Page' on status bar.
For example when on HMRC website and trying to order stationery, once all details submitted, then pressing submit, the aforementioned happens.
Also, hwen on British Gas to change to paperless bills when clicking 'Find Address',again same thing happens.
Not sure if it has anything to do with pop up blockers or otherwise but would appreciate any suggestions please?
Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham

Could be a java issue or something wrong with your browser.

Do you have the latest sunjava installed ......

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

(not forgetting to install/remove older java versions via "Add/Remove Programs" afterwards)

Have you tried using another browser such as Firefox? Do you get the same problems?
