Investment Company or Management Company
Can a landlord operate through a ltd as an investment company, being the property (and the mortgage) in the director’s name?
I read that there are certain restrictions i.e. when the property is not in the name of the company, HMRC will consider the company to be a management company and will only allow 20% of the renting income to go through the company which is the normal for management companies.
Many Thanks
