IR Agents Compensation

IR Agents Compensation

Didn't find your answer?

I am sure I saw someone mention a reference to a Section regarding claims made by agents for the Revenue's appalling performance. I have claimed some 4 hours or so from the Revenue, who have admitted error, but state that they will only pay my client on an Invoice I issued. Bascially IR lost the electronically filed P35 and P14s of a local vineyard filed successfully in April but never showing as filed on my IR Agent's sheet. There have been numerous telephone calls, letters, a request for manual filing of all P14s, - which I carried out, further letters etc culminating in an Official Complaint. The payment of my Invoice by this particular client is rather slim, in fact Court Action for recovery looms. Ani ideas?

Thats the way it is
Ive claimed compensation on a few occasions successfully, but yes you do have to raise an invoice (in clients name) and send this to Revenue.
I usually get the cheque off client and hold on to it until the Revenue issue the same to client.
You say payment of fees is not forthcoming from client? So why then, have you done all that extra work.....or have I misunderstood?
