Is Jay Tanna still alive?

Is Jay Tanna still alive?

Didn't find your answer?

Although Liverpool lost the Championship and were knocked out of the Uefa Cup by Celtic, surely Jay Tanna has not gone into hiding. Has he been lost on holiday or is he experiencing an inordinately long audit of some large Co?

On the other hand, maybe he has finally gotten married and his new wife wont allow him to play on the computer any more!

I think we should be told, AWeb.

The Wedding List goes on......
I like # 10 in your list, only thing it's not a VCD, which I guess will be of no use to a man-made machine pronounced marriage.

Let's think back in terms of technology and compare and contrast a bit :

0) I shall marry you for life, till death tore us apart. How nice man and women married together, nice couple indeed.

1) A long long time ago (on graduation day, you handed me your book, I write this, Roses are red my love,......) ..... hymm, it must be Slim Whitman who sung this

2) Metamorphosis of man ... progression from old, half-modern to modern

o) ding-dong ding-dong .... it's a song, of course

a) "I went to your wedding" by Patti page, sorry I'm not sure if Patti's album is in CD nowadays, what's next happening in the wedding?

b) "I saw you crying in the chapel...." - sung by Elvis Presley, next....

c) as "man" grew more modern with his "changing ways" that when he decides to change......he sang "Release me, and let me love again", forgot the Singer, so sorry.

3) The "traditional" married man happily married

Uptown girl,.... (I will definitely marry you, my darling), up to now - good old Billy Joel, I love to see you and hear you sing this lovely-lovely song, so nice to hear about, howdy's your uptown girl? dear downtown boy.

4) So-called traditional and nice too

"More than yesterday" by Slim Whitman and before that? Yes, "I'll take you home again Kathleen" and "Love at the waterfalls", guess this is where love at waterfall sight befall.
Nice to hear too - "Indian Love Call" and how nice, the yodelling voice of Slim and off to "China Doll"...[Rose Marie million seller record, those '50s]Oh Rose Marie I love you, I am always dreaming of you, No matter what I do I can't forget you, Sometimes I wish that I never met you.......", "I'll sail the boat alone in the nite", before that?
.... must have been Rose Rose I love you......and Distant Drums by the great Jim Reeves, and Aloha songs by another great singer Elvis Presley

5) Equally nice

Johnny Horton sings "All for the love of a girl" and "Tell Laura I love her", Lobo sing "I love you to want me".

Got some more to tell, let's push it to chapter 2 then.

"I went to your wedding"
....... I forgot the verses, so I gotto rewind my Patti Page cassette which I bought (original) about 20 years ago. Oh gosh, it is still working fine. Thanks to the weather.

Cabbage curry is just one of those nice dishes for a wedded robot.

Non-aggregating principle, Black Cab
...that's why Man and Machine cannot be pronounced as wedded. Perhaps, a barbie dollie and Machine might be an exception to the rule. I love to hear Pattie Page sing I went to your wedding.

Hey, you guys ever watch wrestling? It is such a Big Show with the Pain and Undertaker swinging and punching hard rock cafe. If this is still not enough, please tuned on to Ripley's Believe it or not, because you just have to end up believing it. Well, I still think the Manchester is a great team.

Sky watching is another great sport. It is all about getting a powerful telescope watching from atop a skyscrapper with "extra" fringe privilege of getting to watch something else should your telescope got swung to the direction of a room atop the sky.

Well, the next eclipse to come is November, so stay tune with your powerful telescope. Do write to tell us what other things you got to see. Maybe if we got long lives, we may get to see the conjuction of Venus, Mercury and Jupiter, making it a very big bright star of the night, something of a very rare occassion.

Modern Progressive Outlook, Amal?

My charismatic leader The Rev B Cabman, may beg to differ.

Have you mispelt your name Amal? Or like Jay do you have a dose of the OK Computers?

Paneer

He seemed to be a bit cheesed off about the signature thing. I suspect he is withholding his labour. I have emailed him but no reply by close of business on Friday.

I am very alive and kicking John!

John,

I am very much alive and kicking despite a miserable finish by the Reds. The good thing is at least we got the silverware (Worthington cup) by beating the current champions in the final! Also, Gerald Houllier got the honorary OBE which I think he deserved it.

My good friend Phil Rees sent me an email privately about your message so I decided to log on. I have currently stopped logging on AWEB to avoid any temptation of posting messages. My messages seems to have some sort of power to break AccountingWEB's display frames!. I am told that AWEB is pondering potential changes to the site, which could include going for a more wide-screen layout, but in the meantime I am exercising some restraint with my links!.

Like all IT projects, it can take anything from few months to up to 3 years to implement changes. So I shall refrain from posting any messages which will not serve the purpose of solving the querists’ immediate problem whether it be Accounting, Tax or IT. I am currently solving people’s Ms office problems on Microsoft’s website hoping that one day I can become an MVP (Microsoft’s Valuable Professional).

As to getting married, I subscribe to he principle that a man should never get married to make one woman unhappy but he should certainly remain single and make many women happy! Paul, most probably you attended another Jay’s wedding which I am sure lasted the whole day with plenty of food and non alcoholic drinks!

In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying the good luck your team had by winning the Scottish title under what I call ridiculous rules. Rangers won because it scored one extra goal than Celtic! I would have thought, play-off would have been the better method to resolve any deadlock such as this.

Liverpool will certainly come back next season with some new players with Owen and Gerald revitalised after playing for England. Scotland did very well against the Germans and let us hope that it can get a play-off position for Euro 2004.

Best regards,
Please send all praise, abuse, insults, bequests etc to jtanna (at) btopenworld (dot) com. Change the obvious to the obvious.

Is this that far "live" can go?
Hope this is not the "death" of this site. No one posted further, that is to say.

Man and machine marriage does not go far. They both ended up in a Music Box doing the Tango as James Last conducts the orchestra, while Vince Hill sings I had a last waltz with you (Last Waltz), and Connie Francis sings Changing Partners and Tennesee Waltz. Nice songs to hear, will you all try to pick these song titles and listen to it after a hard day's work? Last but not least, do not forget the song My Darling Clementine and Only You by Lola Dee.

Where's Jay?
I hope Jay's OK, so to speak, because he is a sorely missed voice - I'm not so sure about his getting married though because many years ago I was very privileged to attend Jay's wedding - and a wonderful and memorable occasion it was - recreating a hindu village in West London.
