Job/Project/Time Costing Software

Job/Project/Time Costing Software

Didn't find your answer?

Can anyone recommend suitable job/project/time costing software for a small (40 staff) consultancy business? My client has Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll.

Sage 50 Job Costing ought to be the answer but I can't get a trial/demo from Sage and I have a feeling that the software is getting elderly anyway. Has anyone used it recently?

Ideally the system should link to the accounts and payroll programs, have a web/Outlook interface so that staff can input their own timesheets etc., handle purchase orders and allow some basic staff scheduling.

Access FocalPoint
We have just been awarded a contract with a London based consulting firm (35 employees + 50 Associates, circa £10m t/o) to supply, implement and support their replacement Job Costing system - which I have been running. This covers web based (Outlook style) Job Costing / Project Management, Resource Planning, Timesheets, Expenses, Finance & Accounting, Reporting - and replaces Sages L50 & Spreadsheet systems.
