We must also
ask the businesses affected to sign the petition as well.

Good idea Stuart, I've just e-mailed all my payroll clients and asked them to sign the petition.

I've signed, but....
...a pity Joy did not put out a draft for comment before submission!!

Her complaint only covers part of the underlying problem, which in truth is an unholy combination of issues. To be honest, I think a half-decent civil servant will be more than capable of drafting a response to the petition (as presented) which could appear half-reasonable to the uninitiated.

Accepting that drafting by committee is not great, can anyone else who is involved in this disaster draft a wider note? I presume (?) the august bodies and institiutes are making representations - does anyone have access to these worthy documents?

Martin
I agree with you on this one. Do you want to start the ball rolling with a first draft - either email me:
[email protected]
or post into Any Answers

Members can then add their edits and suggestions as a Wiki. The more petitions the better, this is more than mere IT failure, will anyone take responsibilty?
