Kashflow

Didn't find your answer?

I have a client who likes the idea of Kashflow to do their book-keeping. I have had a quick look at the website and it looks fairly easy to work (except I can not find any nominal ledger as yet) Has anybody had any dealings with the program and if so, do they like it. And where is the nominal ledger ?

Thanks in advance
Driscoll

I've got quite a few clients that use it
The single consistant comment I get from clients is that it is so simple to use.

If you look under reports in the general reports section you will see Trial Balance and Profit and Loss (Complete with drill down by clicking on the account)

Admittedly it does take a bit of getting used to if like me you were used to Sage/quickbooks but as I said the clients find it far easier to work with so it has to be a plus point for providing good client service.

It's hidden away
Hi,

The KashFlow client application (the main software you are looking at) is designed primarily for small business owners with no knowledge of accounting software. Hence items like the nominal ledger are hidden away so as not to detract from the jargon-free simplicity of the program.

To activate the Journal, just go to Settings->Advanced Settings and tick the appropriate box.

If you are using the Partner Programme (see www.partners.kashflow.co.uk) then you have automatic access to a Journal for each client

As Alan says, there is a Trial Balance with a drill-down for each nominal code. We'll be adding a Nominal Ledger Report later today.

On a final note, feel free to call us on 0800 848 8301 if you've got any questions. We're a friendly bunch and always happy to have a chat.
