Landlord Serviced Offices Software

Landlord Serviced Offices Software

Didn't find your answer?

Our client has a main commercial property, which is split into 40 units. Our client would like to be able to show a income and expenditure account on each unit, so that they can see that all costs have been recharged etc. Does anyone know of any good, reasonably priced software to assist in this; we are members of Sage Accountants Club, but have to look at all options and not just "take the Sage route" when there maybe better products out there. After all the thought of running 40 departments does not hold us with great expectations of the client being able to run it efficiently.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Quickbooks
You can set each property up as a seperate cost centre or 'class' and allocate payments and receipts as necessary

I don't think there is a limit to the amount of classes you can have and reporting by class is a doddle

Software
Try Moneysoft Money Manager. www.Moneysoft.co.uk
A doddle to operate and each department can be set up with a specific mark code to show all receipts and payments. The Final Accounts version would give you a detailed I&E or P&L for each department or in total. It uses Alpha 26 letters for depts both upper and lower case giving a theoretical 52 depts. - and miles cheaper than Sage!
Eg Dept A = mark code A
Dept 27 = mark code a
They also do an excellent Payroll prog. Just filed my P35's using their software and I havent had a rejection yet as everything is validated before sending.
