My wife and myself hold let property joint names (50/50) in one case and as tenants in common in the second case.
Is it possible to pass the holding from one to the other so as to preserve indexation on at least half the property pre-April 6th and before the new CGT rules come into force?
Does it make any difference how the property is currently held in joint names?
