Linked spreadsheets in Excel 2007

Hi, can anyone help me with this problem...

I have two spreadsheets: a summary spreadsheet 'A' and a workings spreadsheet 'B' that contains quarterly figures. 'A' contains formulas linking to values in 'B'. If I save 'B' as 'C' in order to do workings for the next quarter Excel helpfully updates the linked formulas in 'A' to look to the new spreadsheet 'C'.

Is there a way to stop Excel 2007 doing this automatically?

My spreadsheets were created in Excel 2000 and we have recently upgraded to Excel 2007. I didn't have this problem with the Links changing in the old Excel.
