Mileage Allowance Relief

Mileage Allowance Relief

Didn't find your answer?

In 2003-2004 I was doing some agency work at various companies, I am unclear as to whether on my journeys to work, I can claim mileage allowance relief.

My argument for claiming is that the places of work were only temporary, a few months at a time, and so I think I can claim

Can anyone help ?

Don't think so

If you are an agency worker, travel to and from the client is considered commuting and not business travel.

Here's a link to HMRCs explanation.
