Mobile Phones Trading

Didn't find your answer?

We are about to set up a mobile phone business and want some advice. We are looking at registerating the business in which ever country would be the most beneficial for tax purposes.

The company would be part owned by the parent plc who currently carries out the group's trade. Would 10% be sufficient to be classed as part of the group and allow a cross company guarantee if needed?.

We would wnat a separate VAT/sales tax registration for this compnay. Does anybody know if any countries in particular have low sales tax rates and are without the equivalant joint liabilities laws that HMCE have just brought in. Our country of registration will be based upon this.

Also for funds brought into the UK, what would plc get taxed upon for corp tax if only 10% was owned, is it just any dividend?
