How can I scan in more than one document in one PDF file please?

Thanks

It all depends..
Hi Alan

I cannot answer your question; however I do know that it will be difficult for anyone to answer without knowing what hardware/software combination you are using.

As an example, our network printer/scanner/copier/fax will scan all the items in the input tray and create a single PDF file or will require one to tell it when finished and do the same if placing documents on the glass. If you are using a simple SOHO scanner setup then I guess the answer will or may lie in the software supplied.

Let us know what you have got and I am sure somebody will have an answer for you.

Acrobat
A key question is do you have a full version of Acrobat, or just the reader.

If you have the full version, there are facilities to insert pages into an existing file, or create a single pdf from multiple documents. Different versions have had different facilities added as they progress.

If you've only got Acrobat reader, you won't be able to do that. As Richard says, the answer will depend on your software and possibly hardware.
