I'd be grateful for feedback from users as to how Navision compares with Sage Line 50 that we would be migrating from if we went ahead with the this project
Many Thanks

Completely different beast
Far more powerful and sophisticated than Line 50, but the reporting can be problematic. See some of the material we have on AccountingWEB:

Go NAV
I agree with David. I've used Navision for the past 8 years, and am currently installing version 5.
NAV inbuilt reports are pretty basic. If you are a mid-size enterprise the best business intelligence/reporting system by far for NAV is from PrecisionPoint Software (www.precision-point.com).
It eliminates all the reconciliation issues of any ERP system to give one view of the truth, so, for example, the Sales department and the Finance Department can report on identical numbers.
Health warning! I was so impressed with PrecisionPoint I joined the company!
Why Changing?
I would have thought that for anyone to answer your question, they would need to know why you are wanting to change and why you are considering Navision.
(Navision is very powerful, with a price to match)
