New Software

New Software

Didn't find your answer?

Im looking to upgrade to a 32 bit accounts package. Does anyone have experience of Great Plains or Exchequer? Stock control has to be the key area for us, Ive seen the drill down facility and open period end on Exchequer but like the idea of a Microsoft based product.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you want 32-bit . . .
. . . are your invoices really for such large amounts?

(As someone else has mentioned, it's Friday and the Christmas Party has started for some)

Also, what's the business basis for wanting a Microsoft product? And if you do, why not wait until the Great Plains software is actually upgraded to make the most of WindowsXP? At the moment the relevant product is that written for WindowsNT (not even 2000) and it's seriously due for a major enhancement, even though such an upgrade has not yet been signposted.

Exchequer is OK too, but if your principal concern is stock control you should really be elaborating upon your needs in that functional area and investigating both of these products (and others) from this specific point of view.

Sorry - more questions than answers, but that's the way it is.
