in number or in premium?

Hi,

This one kept me up last night ;(

Newco wises to raise £10,000 in capital and will issue shares.

Should it issue say 1 £1 share at a premium of £9,999 or issue 10,000 shares of £1?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?? If any!
